The
restaurant is situated inside the Wine Tasting
center at the Welmoed Winery
on the R310 (Baden-Powell drive) approximately
40km from Cape Town
and 10 km from both Stellenbosch and Somerset
West.

Up
to 50 people can be accommodated inside the
restaurant. For evening functions the Wine Tasting
area can be utilized in addition to the restaurant
area.
The lawn in front of the restaurant can seat
a further 45 people on wooden benches and can
also be used for marquee functions for bigger
groups.
A self contained paved island in the middle
of the pond (reached by a footbridge) can accommodate
approximately 50 people and may be used for
functions and barbecues.

Duck Pond serves country style food focusing
on a lighter, healthier
approachwhile using the freshest ingredients
and products from the area.
The restaurant is fully licensed and promotes
Welmoed Wines at reasonable prices.
A limited range of beers and spirits are served.
